My name is George Sarakinis and I have been involved in the game of futbol for many years as a player, coach, parent, Technical Director. This blog came along as I wanted to share my experience within the game of futbol.

• Oversee Technical Direction of Club, interact and coordinate with, coaches, players, parents and board of directors

• Implementing LTPD with the club as prior to 2012 was primarily a U8 and older club and introduced a U4-U7 Academy program

• Increased player base by 150 players during my time

 

Provincial Team Manager-Ontario Soccer Association Oct 2010-Sept 2012

• Managed the U14s in 2010, U16s in 2011 and 2012

• Liaise with coaches, players and parents

• Schedule Exhibition games, organize referees

• Manage budgets for training camps and International Travel

• Selected to start with Active Start course as a Learning Facilitator

• 1991: Drafted by Hamilton Steelers (CSL) 

• 1993: Dallas U19 Super Group Top Scorer with Mississauga Falcons

• 1993-1995: Attended Laurentian University, Rookie of the year and Top Goal Scorer in Canada

• OUAA All-star in 1993, Team Ranked #2 In Canada

• CIAU All-star in 1994, Team ranked #1 in Canada, Provincial Champions, 4th place finish at Nationals

• OUAA All-star in 1995, East Division Finalists
